Roads:
Drive at 40 mph or less as this
greatly reduces the number of accidents resulting in injury and sadly
deaths involving ponies, deer & cattle.
Parking:
Please use the forest car parks
Ponies:
Feeding them is not permitted. Young
children are particularly at risk - keep a safe distance from ponies.
They can bite and kick!
Dogs:
Dogs should be kept under control at
all times to protect the wildlife.
Access:
Keep to the footpaths
Cycling:
Please stay on public roads and made
up gravelled tracks.
Fire:
No picnic or camp fires are allowed.
Barbecue sites are provided by the Forestry Commission.
Litter:
Litter is a danger to the animals.
Please use the animal-proof bins at car parks.
